Harli Magic – "I INTERACT" Gallery

 

Most of my recent digital/computer artwork is commenting on our immediate future. The immense impact of digital technology on the environment and living creatures is seen by some as the next stage in evolution. I coined the term technoMetamorphosis some years ago to describe this transition from human to posthuman.

 

I am fascinated by the concept of Cyborg, entities which are a hybrid manifestation of the marriage of machine and biological human. 

Most of my artwork reflects on these themes. I use a number of software applications to create backgrounds, figures and effects in the original images prior to uploading to SL for further transformation.

 

My work generally has a number of layers of meaning which reveal themselves after repeated viewing.
